When The Hundreds partnered with Jim Davis’s Garfield in 2010, it was a huge milestone for the brand, launched with a group art show featuring the likes of Slick and Lance Mountain. The Hundreds returns in 2018 for a second collaboration in celebration of the brand's 15-year Anniversary, drawing inspiration from the ‘90s rendition of Garfield and friends.
“I can’t search far within my childhood memories without running into tabby orange fur and black stripes. A comic strip about a sarcastic orange cat, his owner Jon Arbuckle, and Odie the dog… taught me how to draw cartoons and I swore that one day I’d make a living off of my art the way Jim Davis did.”

The Hundreds X Garfield includes a range of graphics across T-shirts and pullover hoodies, featuring much-loved characters Garfield and Odie in a variety of situations. The brand have opted to use a number of new and unique body colours in this collection, with tees available in coral, carolina blue, squash and mint and pullovers in pigment dyed black, maroon, yellow, mint and light blue.
As you would expect to see, graphics are bright and bold and see interaction between Garfield characters and The Hundreds branding - such as the Scratch T-shirt, depicting Garfield sliding down the back of the shirt and scratching through a Bar logo.
The cut & sew includes some really special pieces, including an allover print tee and a two-piece pajamaset featuring a Garfield Adam Bomb. A highlight of the collection is the Garfield Rose Jacket, which features Garfield on a bed of roses direct embroidered across the back.
Much like the first The Hundreds x Garfield collection, the accessories are some of the best bits. Included alongside 3 cap shapes and a beanie are, stickers, a pin set, a tin wastebasket, glass coaster set, an adhesive plush toy, and finally a mystery cruiser board with a surprise graphic to be revealed at a later date.
