Brixton SU19

Brixton SU19

The Summer collection continues on from Spring taking inspiration from the music, culture and traditions of dancehall, and the impact it has had across the world.

Growing out of Jamaica in the 70s, dancehall would prove an important influence for early punk bands like Blondie and particularly The Clash, who were a huge inspiration on Brixton when launching the brand in 2004.

The spirit and sound of dancehall has inspired this collection - a celebration of colour and unique style. Colours of patriot blue, nugget gold, henna, cameo and leaf green come together to form this season's vibrant colour story.

This season we are excited to showcase Brixton's expertise in shorts, with particular focus on our range of Hybrid shorts, good for both the beach or the city, land or sea. The Summer collection includes extended options in our All Terrain range with affordable price points.

Additionally, we continue to shine the spotlight on striped knits with some great new colours in yarn dyed striped tees and polos, keeping things clean and classic.

Shorts are an area we've seen increasing requests for and Brixton have covered all bases with this Summer collection. The All Terrain range, built with functional features like durable ripstop with two-way stretch and a water resistant coating, now contains four unique styles, each available in a number of bold new colour options.

This season's trunks have improved material quality and feature comfortable elastic-waist options in the Palmas and Havana alongside the more traditional Barge board short. We also continue with our new price point Steady Short launched for Spring, in three new colours, joining our classic Toil and Madrid walk shorts.

Short-sleeve shirts are another focal point of this collection and an area we've seen great growth in. New pop colours in the classic Charter Oxford Shirt accompany three Tropical print Charter Shirts, featuring a floral print you'll see throughout the collection. The range only gets better from there with the rayon Lovitz and Cruze shirts and vintage styled Irving shirt.

These are followed by classic striped knits and athletic-inspired tops, featuring screen-printed, embroidered and woven label branding. The Hilt Pocket and Pablo Knits were among out best-sellers for Spring 19.

While we all want to keep eyes on another hot Summer, the collection does include items for the cooler evenings. Steady Pants are back in two new colours, including a classic woodland camo, and four Bowery Flannel options are perfect for night-time layering.

The Summer fleece range includes the new athletic-inspired Judson Mock Neck 1/4 zip fleece, a new henna colour of the B-Shield Hood, and two clean, embroidered Cantor Hood colourways.

New colours pepper the selection of standard and premium T-shirts - a great combination of red clay, nugget gold, parchment and orion blue. Chest and back print designs featuring new logos and old favourites are available on both tees and longsleeves in this season's bold colour palette. Basics are also available in this selection of new colours.

When it comes to headwear, Summer is the perfect time to re-explore Bucket Hats. We have four new designs this season covering a number of shapes and colour options, making the perfect assortment for next Summer.

Supporting our classic range of Flat Caps are new fabrics in the Fiddler, Unstructured Fiddler and new Unstructured Montreal, and the Stewart Hip Pack returns in two new colours.

Finally, Brixton continue to develop their range of womens headwear in anticipation of a full womens collection in the near future. This season's selection features a variety of options based around the Fiddler shape in a number of unique colours, which are supported by Berets and Bucket Hats exclusive to the womens range.
